Christian Dior Exhibition Blog Review

Today I’m going to be doing something which hasn’t been done before on my blog thus far. I’ve decided to review a blog post that initially caught my attention due to the fact that I was intrigued by the Christian Dior Exhibition. Although it is an older post, I enjoy the fact that this post offers a unique perspective on something many people haven’t gotten the chance to experience, the Christian Dior Exhibition in London. The exhibition showcases over 200 rare Haute Couture garments from V&A’s couture collection as well as extensive Christian Dior archives that range from accessories and original perfume to belongings of Christian Dior himself. The post provides an in-depth perspective of each room in the exhibit from someone who seemingly is a regular at the museum therefore, they give the audience tips about the membership and fees so that if anyone were to go and visit they could plan ahead. Another incredible aspect of this blog post is how the author, Thalia Jeavons, includes many photos of each room so that the audience can get a feel for what she saw while she was in the exhibit herself. Furthermore, all of these aspects make the original blog post an captivating read for those who are interested in learning more about the Christian Dior Exhibition.

If you are interested in reading the blog post yourself check out this link I included. https://tjblogs.com/2019/08/17/christian-dior-exhibition-va-london-part-1/

There is also a second part to this blog post due to the fact that Jeavons has included an in-depth review of the exhibition therefore, if you’re interested in reading that as well here’s the link. https://tjblogs.com/2019/08/17/christian-dior-exhibition-va-london-part-2/
