Demonia

Demonia, while they are a popular brand for many goths and punks today they were originally founded by a parent company named PleaserUSA in 1993. PleaserUSA began as a company that imported and distributed urban footwear although they still proceed to distribute fashion shoes all around the world they started many companies such as Pleaser, Demonia, Fabulicious, Funtasma, Pin Up Coutoure, Pleaser Pink Label, Devious and Bordello, all with similar ideologies towards making their fashion defiant and nonconforming.

From sandals, sneakers, and Mary Janes to creepers, and platform boots, Demonia is an extremely versatile brand with an extensive collection. Personally, these shoes were my very first “goth” footwear and I still wear them to this day due to their durability and high quality. I believe that Demonia is an impressive brand that allows many people to achieve their desired look for an affordable price. While there are many brands out there making platforms Demonia has made it their mission to continuously distribute original statements with each piece of footwear they release. These pair shown in the picture were originally purchased off of the very popular clothing app, Depop. Therefore, I advise anyone who is interested in shoes such as these to either buy them off Depop, Grailed, or other similar websites.
